Shit happens? Yup, this weekend was definitely my reminder for that…
From as early as my first practice session I knew something was off in both handling and power delivery… and worst of all I was near 2-seconds off my usual race pace.
Chased it all day and even tried to compensate with better driving but nothing worked. Ultimately, I entered the races with two redefined goals:
(1) stay in the points
(2) keep the Lo206 Senior class alive
Thankfully both goals were achieved and I left the weekend with just enough to maintain my lead in the Championship.
Next up: complete tear down and reset, both the kart and myself. Oh and replace another wheel and axle… who knows what happened there? I don’t… **whistles innocently**
